Celebrate the Advent Season with GBC

Grace Brethren Chapel invites you to join us this Christmas season as we celebrate the advent, or coming, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Starting on Sunday, November 30, and lasting until Sunday, December 21, Pastor Robie will be preaching an Advent series entitled Expecting Jesus.

During this time, our GBCkids will be learning about Advent as well by using the following curriculum from Go Fish Resources.

New Wednesday Night Study: Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ

On July 30 at 6pm, Grace Brethren Chapel will begin a new study on Wednesday nights utilizing John Piper’s Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ. It will be a six week study which will include video lectures from John Piper, followed by discussion, and Q&A.

The video series is also accompanied by a book which can be purchased on Amazon for $8.99 in paperback, or $6.15 for Kindle. However, the book will not be required for participating in the study.

Vacation Bible School 2014

Grace Brethren Chapel is excited to announce our 2014 Vacation Bible School! This year’s VBS comes from the Answers in Genesis ministry, which is the organization that founded and operates the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. The curriculum is entitled International Spy Academy: Agents for the One True God. At the GBC International Spy Academy, our mission is to instill in your children an understanding of the one true God of the Bible they can carry with them for the rest of their lives and share with those around them. They’ll uncover the clues that lead to the one true God who is the Creator of all and who calls people from every tribe and nation to have fellowship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

VBS will run from June 30 – July 3, from 6-8pm, and will include classes for preschool to high school students. In addition to gospel-centered, biblical teaching, each night will include singing, games, crafts, and snacks.

We are looking forward to a great week of learning about, and worshipping Jesus, and invite you and your children to join us!
